While we're waiting I can quote the post where he mocked people with mental health issues and was too prideful to apologize.

We had a nice conversation going about substance and now it’s getting sidetracked by trolling.

If you want to stick to substance, that’s great. If not, I’ve no interest.

We don't need to turn a good discussion into rolling troll festival Part XV.

So?
It's relevant in the sense that it shows some societies do not focus on the concept of afterlife at all, and that this is not simply and always some invariable result of wishful thinking.

Surely, my dear FMF, you connected those dots.

How about you debate the content instead of focusing on being the most active member to ever exist.

So you’re agreeing that you were speaking about salvation initially? That was why I responded in our initial posts as though your inquiry was still related to salvation.
Almost all religions seem to promise a life after death - in some form or other - in return for adherence. So we agree on this?

What did it have to do with the post of mine you were quoting?

You said earlier on this thread "I love how you never answer questions". The kinds of questions from you I don't answer are ones like "Are you wearing a bra and panties?"

I think religions promising an afterlife, for which none have a single jot of proof, are trading on wishful thinking. I just think it's part of human nature for a lot of people to hope for some kind of everlasting life and for there to be 'more than only this' etc.

No, you don’t answer numerous questions - and not just from me.

And you ought to put in context that question from me was related to two other posters who claimed you created a fake account on here in which you pretended to be a woman.

Do you know the difference between evidence and proof?

When you said “a single jot of proof,” did you mean to say “a single jot of evidence?”

Because there is plenty of evidence.

I think you are misrepresenting how I debate things. You and dj2becker asked me dozens of times if I created or used the Duchess64 account when you both know it's just a bit of silly banter about a false rumour started by a forum jerk. I don't care how 'numerous' the occasions are that you ask these sorts of questions.

For all the promises of an afterlife that religions make?
