Is someone who sincerely believes that the Christian faith is the only basis for rational thought at an intellectual disadvantage when discussing things with fellow Christians who don't believe that and with non-Christians?

"Presuppositionalism is a school of Christian apologetics that believes the Christian faith is the only basis for rational thought. It presupposes that the Bible is divine revelation and attempts to expose flaws in other worldviews. It claims that apart from presuppositions, one could not make sense of any human experience, and there can be no set of neutral assumptions from which to reason with a non-Christian. Presuppositionalists claim that a Christian cannot consistently declare his belief in the necessary existence of the God of the Bible and simultaneously argue on the basis of a different set of assumptions that God may not exist and Biblical revelation may not be true." Isn't that assumption presuppositional?

Rationality is in the mind, isn't it? If God created the mind of man, then pure rational thought is a derivative of the mind of God, which is expressly revealed in His Word.

Can a rational argument be made that contradicts the mind of God? It can, but will it succeed?

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

No matter what world view is used everyone of them have foundational truth. You think those with only materialistic views don’t view the universe in only a materialistic view point?

The OP question is quite specific and your answer is not contingent upon my opinion about anything. Is your answer to the OP question "Yes" or "No"?

Oh please, what a joke from you. I have asked very specific questions and you come back with things like, ",,,what do you mean by reason." You scream bloody murder for the things you do to others. Quite specifically, why don't you live by this, answer others the way you want your posts answered.

Yes, that's right. And I explained why. It wasn't a joke. It was going straight to the heart of the bias built into your question. Apparently, you didn't realize.

Don’t you have mind reading abilities so you know others thoughts and motivations?

Does someone who believes that the Christian faith is the only basis for rational thought put themselves at an intellectual disadvantage when interacting with people who don't?
