Never-mind the reasons, just explicitly state whether or not you think it is possible that a person could be once saved and now not be?
YES, HELL is in the future for some who walked away from God.
That clear enough for you?

Be nice. It must be hard to leave the OSAS gang and loose all his 'friends'.

Why so angry.

It is because you've just realised that this is what happened to FMF and yet you have been arguing for weeks that he couldn't have been saved in the first place because he had walked away 20 years later?

Don't think I agree with this by the way; I'm just arguing FMF's point using your doctrine.

I know you are a OSAS. KellyJ apparently had a hard time coming out and saying that he believes that. Interesting.

Yeah, just like humans owning an ant colony and those that don't bow down to the owner, he uses a magnifying glass in the sun to burn the unbelievers again and again. Sure, your god could do that, being functionally insane.

Not angry, I'm trying to answer your question in a way you'd grasp. Since
the first time I said they could you missed it.

Therefore, as you are a proponent of the doctrine that a Christian can lose their salvation, why won't you accept that FMFs stance (that he is no longer a Christian), can mean that he in fact once was a Christian, and now no longer is? I.e. He has lost his salvation.

Persons can not lose their salvation once Jesus saves them. If a person claims he is saved, that is just an opinion. If a person claims he is unsaved, that is also just an opinion.

Thanks for your input; I'm waiting on Kelly's response as the FMF example/debate is an interesting case study.

Listen, I've done pages with him on the point that bothers me about his
story. It didn't have anything to do with that doctrine, it had everything
to do with how he describes it.

Had he said, I knew the Lord but walked away, okay, I agree change of heart.

Had he said, I walked as a Christian for years, but realized it was false than
that would be okay, he would realize he didn't have anything real, I could
understand that. It basically denies he ever really knew the Lord, but admits
it!

He wants it both ways, he knew the Lord, and Lord isn't real. So what did
he lose there? He made claims he now says are not true!

I'm not going to do this with you after spending pages with him! I think he
is in the only place where he has a shot of actually coming to the Lord, if his
blinded heart ever gets a taste of the real thing.

If by "both ways" you mean that I was "both" [1] a Christian during one part of my life and then [2] an ex-Christian during this more recent part of my life, then both these things are true and we can agree upon this.
