Friends, on the other hand does need one.

No, i'm sticking stubbornly to thy.

Are you applying for the position of my Spiritual Arch Nemesis? If so, you are a front runner. 😠
No, it's "thine" enemy.

Thine is used before words starting with a vowel sound, just like "an".

Thy is used before words starting with a consonant sound, just like "a".

Just so you know.

No, it doesn't.

EDIT: I actually jumped the gun with this response. So, yes, you are correct. In his post, "friend's" is a possessive.

Surely it needs to be either...

Wherefore wouldst thou question thine good friends' grammar?

AND, the usage would be "thy good friend's grammar", not "thine good friend's grammar".

Your spiritual arch nemesis hides in the darkness, slips and slides as he moves, he casts
doubt in all you do, and if possible would lead you to a quick destruction, he pretends to
be a great being of light and attempts to appear as one. He twists truth till it is something
else.

He also isn't one of us. 🙂

If this is supposed to be you finally speaking out and standing up to Dasa, I think you've left it rather late. 😉

Okay, 'enemy' is a bit misleading, but I certainly require a Spiritual Arch Nemesis to pit my atheistic genius against. (Robbie doesn't count).

I will consider all applications for thi ...[text shortened]... rong in my atheism and to google such oddities and 'did Moses eat meat.' (Robbie doesn't count).
I'm up for it, but unfortunately I am neither for nor against the idea of "god".

I am totally against a notion of a christian god, ie. an entity that presides overall .

I do believe that "higher powers" that OCCASIONALLY assist humans and those people give them godly status.

But when I here of religious matters discussed it is always this black and white, god-no god arguement which to me misses the point of spirituality

Okay, you have made the shortlist. (Interview pending).
