I live not far from some ostriches, so if you send me the money it will be cheaper. The main problem I see is the question of just how long I have to watch them. If they don't put their heads in the sand for over a month, can we conclusively say they never do?

Firstly, I never indicated the position of the ostrich's head in relation to the sand in my initial suggestion of your likeness to the same.
Secondly, even if I did

Thirdly, two points ought to suffice at proving my point.

No attempt at wriggling occurred; successful wriggling was clearly apparent.

Untrue.
Like you, I initially had no concept of anything remotely labeled "earth," or any shapes attributed thereof.
I simply wanted boobies.

4. You then attempted to wriggle out of your faux pas by offering 12 million pounds you don't have to send a rocket in to space. (A man with 12 million pounds wouldn't be so concerned about his credit score!)
The pound figure in question was nothing more than conjecture and tongue-in-cheek joviality.
Additionally, my accountant was relying on a favorable downturn in currency rates which would allow for optimization of delivery.
