I am listening alright. When did I ever say that I am holier than you or that I
am saved. I am sure I have admitted on this forum that I am a sinner in need
of salvation. I do believe I am being saved though. That process is not complete.

YOU cannot read hearts and YOU are not a judge of men. How dare you put yourself in a position that only Jehovah and Jesus have the right to do.........

Some people say that I am an embarrassment to the Christians on this forum.
There was one Christian in the past that said I should tone down the way I
present Christianity. I have made an effort to do that. Sometimes I forget.
However, I was wondering how many Christians look at me with embarrassment.
We don't see eye to eye on some issues, and I question the way you treat people at times, but neither do your beliefs or actions reflect badly on anyone but yourself, so there's no sense in anyone but yourself feeling embarrassment.
Similarly, I'm not puffed up with pride when I hear about the life of Mother Theresa, as if it reflects well on me; nor do I feel a sense of shame when I hear about the hateful words and actions of Fred Phelps, as if they reflect badly on me. Undoubtedly, your words and actions have consequences, but still, no one else is answerable for those consequences.
You have the right to declare and defend whatever position you wish, but what right does anyone have to treat others badly? That the people you treat insultingly happen to be atheists or happen to be antagonistic towards you makes no difference. If you place any importance whatsoever on Christ's teaching to love thine enemy and to turn the other cheek, then it should be a priority of yours to get your heart right with God before interacting with your fellow man.
Whether you take this advice or leave it, doesn't matter to me.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the
money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove
them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the
changers’ money and overturned the tables. And He said to those who sold
doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”
(John 2:13-16 NKJV)
What do you think of this? Was Jesus being nice to these people doing business
by driving them out with a whip and overturning their tables. Doesn't it seem a
little rude too? Couldn't he have asked them politely to leave like the JW's
suggest? How is He ever going to convert them when he treats them so bad?
Do atheists have the right to insult me and I must still be nice to them? Do
they have the right to accuse me of all types of evil, but I can not defend
myself. That is not what Jesus did when He was accused of breaking the
Sabbath command by the Pharisees was it? He called them a bunch of names.
(See my earlier post)
You do not know what Jesus meant by turning the other cheek because you are
being led by blind guides, who are just like those Pharisees . Is it loving your
neighbor to tell them the lies they want to hear? Or is it loving them to tell
them the truth because they need to hear it?
I hope you take my advice and study the Holy Bible so you know what you are
talking about. Glory be to God. HalleluYah !!!

I think you hit the nail on the head with this. I'm wondering why he started this thread if not to take advice because he sure seems to fighting all that's being suggested to him. What's his motive by doing this? Attention?
piece of advice hes been given, I would go as far to say he is resisting the Holy Spirit
for he has dismissed the Biblical verses which as you and I know are a product of Holy
Spirit.

with the opinions of others is one thing, resisting the Holy spirit, quite another.

@RJ
I fail to understand your reasoning behind making this forum topic. You've asked for the frank opinion of a multitude of people, and have thus far, rejected any notion that does not agree with your particular views.
In case you have not noticed, the majority of comments on this thread sound resoundingly against your particular style of exposing ...[text shortened]... deas put forth in the Bible

Perhaps YOU should first tell me by what criteria do YOU think somebody can be accepted as a Christian?
What is it exactly that makes somebody a Christian?

Jesus called the pharisees hypocrites because of their pompous self-righteousness - just like you! be careful what he may one day call you: Get out, I never knew you!
The temple incident was the one time that Jesus showed his "zeal for his father's house". I don't have to explain the whole incident to you, there are enough commentaries on this matter.
But read on - just a few days later he is standing in front of Pontius Pilate, an atheist if ever there was one. How did he react? Rant and rave? Insult and invective? Call down fire and brimstone??
You quote scripture as it suits you. Again, all this shows is your immaturity. (As I said before, a 68 year old can behave like a teenager!)
Another common proverb that was coined from Jesus' words: "There are none so blind as they that would not see."
