Proper Knob and I have had strong disagreements on evolution vs. creation.
So he has resorted to attacking me as cheating on my chess games by using
a chess engine, probably because he has been unable to win the argument
that evolution is fact.
P.S. In his opinion, anyone that doesn't believe that evolution is a fact is a
mental moron.

all your points. But it matters not that I answer any of your points, for you are
still just as stubborn as ever.
Originally posted by RJHindsThis is the problem - that you do not recognise that smugness directed at atheists, evolutionists, or any other fellow human being is a sign of immaturity and an incredible lack of humility.
All my smug comments are aimed at atheist, evolutionists, and those with other
religious beliefs. They think they are wise and know the truth. I am here to
let them know they are believing in lies. Sometimes that requires tough
language and a little smugness IMO and a HalleluYah ever now and then.
It has been said by some wise person that the more we know, the more we know how little we know....
To say it differently - the wiser you become, the more tolerant you are of another's point of view - knowing that you yourself are, and have been, on a learning path where at some point you did not know what you know now. And that means that at some point in the future.....
At the very least, the myriad divisions of Christianity should engender in you at least a tiny little doubt whether your own particular brand is the one that trumps all others.

But a little constructive criticism would be helpful if it came
from Christian who know what they are talking about. I haven't heard any of that so far.
So your fellow Christians brothers that dare to try to correct you "don't know what they are talking about"!
Puleeeze! Why bother to start this thread if you reject every constructive and helpful suggestion that is made?
I am right, and the whole bunch of you are wrong.

These atheists don't respect God's word even
when I give reference to it, which I often do. That just makes them moredetermined to reject it.
Tell me honestly - have any of your attempts thus far yielded any fruit - other than antagonising them further?
Can you measure the success of your approach by the number of conversions?
Isn't the definition of insanity "to keep on doing the same things and expect different results"?
Shouldn't a wise person periodically review his strategy?
Originally posted by RJHindsYes you do, and you have admitted it!
I do not treat anyone bad. I only use words that some people like stubborn
atheist and Jehovah's Witnesses don't like.
Didn't Paul say: "As far as possible, try to get along with ALL MEN"!!
At least Paul knew that being abusive to atheists (or anybody else, for that matter) wouldn't get him any converts!

Sound familiar?
Isn't this playing ping-pong, just like dasa may have said: "The only thing that I can put forward to strengthen support for my point of view is to say that I am RIGHT and you are WRONG!"

I might have an advantage since I have had about 68 years to gather all my
knowledge. So I am much more aware that I know little compared to God.
That is why I accept His word over those with little knowledge.
