I stopped playing in it a couple of years ago. In the first round a 1200 rated player was clearly using an engine in my section. He aced the section except for 1 draw which I just managed to hold. I reported him and nothing was done. This was in the time when we were supposed to have people actively working to find computer cheats.
"Ever since my upset win in the 2014 RHP Championships, I've felt like a different player!"
In a way I can see why the bannings have stopped.
First of all what is the point of cheating.
Surely there can be no satisfaction from winning a game where you never
won but a machine did.
Most cower behind a nik with no profile, nobody knows who they are, there is no glory.
There is no money to be won.
and now my point...
Even the thrill (if that is what it is) of trying to avoid getting caught has been removed.
What is the point?
AgainI stress your chances of meeting a box are slim.
Just play and sac something. If you win you win, if you lose you lose.
If you win or lose gloriously then you get blogged. Who cares?
You are playing in a 800+ player tournament featuring players from every
corner of the world...including Glasgow, which by the way is a giant ash tray with traffic lights.
Rejoice in the game you love and play.

I am personally looking forward to being knocked out of the first round again this year! π
I also hope to provide some glorified blunders for GP's blog π
I think I have been the victim of an upset at least once every time, and as best I can tell, they were honest ones- I just messed up!

If I were to enter the 2014 RHP Championship, I would need the luck of Arthur Dent and then some therefor, I decline
Your rating gets high enough to be in with a chance to win a group if you get a reasonable draw.
Give it a go - good fun!
