Being the exchange down and a further pawn down, with a knight on the rim, we probably have to play as actively as possible from here on in.
We have to value pieces according to their energy, or dynamic potential
At least White has compromised his kingside pawn structure with g4, making our exchange sacrifice more likely to be effective.

Before Stocek's discovery of 17...Qc7, 17...Qb6+ was the best that Dearing could come up with.
