Afte rmost people had given up on it as equal for black, Kasparov trotted it out and showed there was lots of play based on whites better mobility and tempo. Then again, I figure Kasparov can make any opening look playable.

Try the Englund Gambit or the Albin Counter Gambit. Englund is 1. d4 e5 and the Albin is 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e5

theres a gambit that goes like this:

1.d4 c5(if takes)
2.d4Xc5 e3
3.b4 Nc6
4.a3 a5
5.b4Xa5 Bxc5

i might have done that backwards but what ever...
