Is it true that all Canadians would, if given the chance, vote for a system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people?

Every day the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) helps people and companies in the plastics industry succeed. How? By spreading knowledge , strengthening skills and promoting plastics. SPE is the only place where people from all parts of the industry can come together around important issues and technologies. SPE’s contribution to the plastics industry for ov ...[text shortened]... ion in SPE is a key success factor for those who want to thrive in today’s business environment.
It should be noted that one of the most useful 'plastics' in use today, PTFE(Teflon for the uninitiated) is not a true thermoplastic as it must be molded by a compacting and sintering process. It is a tough, wax like solid, white to gray in color. A major reason for its widespread use as a seal is its outstanding chemical inertness. PTFE is used in both static and dynamic sealing applications and as a diaphragm material. Care must be taken in its use to contain the material adequately so that dimensional changes do not occur as a result of flow under compressive loads. The "cold flow" or creep characteristics of PTFE can be improved by the addition of inert fillers such as fiberglass. One of its unusual characteristics is its extremely low coefficient of friction (One reason I'm surprised that dildos aren't made out of PTFE).

Properties of PTFE moldings are determined in part by crystallinity level which can be controlled by rate of cooling from the gel. This is easier to control by molding than extrusion. For maximum properties, molded material should be specified, however, ram extruded PTFE is less expensive for small diameters and is available in longer length for screw machining.

Should you need more information feel free to contact me or any other member of the SPE.

Pardon me sir, are you going to be participating in the SPE ANTEC 2006 Technical Conference? Would you be so kind as to confirm the Abstract Submission Deadline, and perhaps a sample or example of the expected input for this important conference?
