Stees, to celebrate this outpouring of affection for you today,
I'm thinking about having an evening meal at a nearby restaurant.
May I have your approval to leave this online birthday scene?

Spring rains began in earnest moments after my request for approval; nonetheless, I figured you'd approve. So I tossed caution to the wind by doing a Gene Kelly from my home to the nearby restaurant which was filled with the "beautiful people crowd" having a ball. Following a delightful dinner alone my waitress Lindsey and her co-worker, Chelsea, sang the familiar refrain of Happy Birthday to Great Big Stees in faraway Canada. These revels now are ended on GBS Street in my mind.

Please, the next time you return to that establishment, thank both Lindsey and Chelsea and you too of course, for acknowledging my special day. I hope, unlike Gene' that you kept the umbrella in the open position and stayed out of the puddles.

Maybe a Cajun Cuisine dinner alone in the midst of the "beautiful people" with Lindsey and Chelsea bursting spontaneously into song happened in fact with a white Styrofoam box of the take home entrée on the top shelf of my refrigerator next to the butter, then again maybe it didn't. Maybe whimsy stole the show; maybe we'll know for sure one year from now...

"Surprise after discussion on the GF?" Pondy, simply my way of creating awareness of Princess Drewnogal's 25th Birthday on Saturday, April 25. Please know that I appreciate the initiatives you've often taken to move worthy threads back to page 1.
