Homeless? They're all dead, murdered for their land and their corn. That's what Thanksgiving is all about. That and American football.
No, no, no....you've got it all wrong.
The pilgrims and indians sat down for a happy Thanksgiving meal, to celebrate fellowship and new beginnings.

Right?

No, it is a self-designation by some US citizens for the USA. 😉 I am sure you knew that 😉
Everyone thinks their country is God's country, and guess what? They are all correct! 🙂

What Thanksgiving Means?

the act of giving thanks;

the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favors, especially to God. an expression of thanks, especially to God. a public celebration in acknowledgment of divine favor or kindness. a day set apart for giving thanks to God.

So, if you don't happen to believe in God, it would have some other meaning for you. 🙂

Some would say that Thanksgiving could be a daily holiday.

Not only the U.S. celebrate Thanksgiving, we celebrated it last month. I am sure many do celebrate in different parts of the world, perhaps even in good old UK, there may be some who do celebrate it. 🙂

Does the UK celebrate Thanksgiving?

The American thanksgiving is not celebrated in the UK because no one had to be thankful for their new land and good ocean trip. However, the harvest part of it is still celebrated by many churches and most schools.

That post has an almost angry tone to it.
Peculiar.

Gooster isn't exactly correct on that one, some do celebrate it in the UK

Why November?.......At least in October if you you are going to have the traditional turkey for Christmas you have a bigger gap than having it 2 months in a row. 🙂

I think it’s November because wasn’t that the month the Pilgrims landed on the shores of what eventually became the USA.🤔
