@suzianne saidi respect,
That's Sir Timothy to you.
By the way, Berners-Lee just invented the World Wide Web, not the entire Internet. The internet itself grew out of research done in the 60s, until ARPANet in the 80s, and it flourished from there. The Internet was therefore born in the US, not England, like you tried to imply. I'm not knocking Berners-Lee's invention of the World Wide Web, th ...[text shortened]... t for, started in the US.
But I see what you did there.

the internet spankings you deliver...
thank you, ma'am,
may i have another...
@handyandy saidAt least people communicated with each other. Hell I've seen a couple youngsters texting each other sitting across the table from each other. How I knew they were texting each other is the guy looked up from his phone and said that was too funny.
It was delightful!

@torunn saidI now have a desire to eventually live off of the grid as much as possible. Not sure how to though.
I mean, so much easier to live in those days.
@rowin-side saidI don't think they were even aware that I was sitting two tables away from them! 😉
@Very-Rusty

@rowin-side saidWell these youngsters l was talking about looked to be late teens to me.
Oh my bad. I thought you were with them.
The other day my wife's kid texted her cause he needed help with a bag of milk. He can't seem to use the scissors right.
He was in the next room when he texted and he is 19 years old. 😕
Funny at 19 you would think he would be able to use a pair of scissors!!! 😉
