No, we KNOW the right answer, what we are after is for you to say unequivicably just how flat you think Earth is. We already know you think we are not on a spherical or oblate sphere kind of planet, which already flies in the face of what we know about physics but that is besides the point, you continually say 'we don't know how flat Earth is' but you can give what you think is at least ball park figures, like less than 100 miles thick? 10 miles thick? 1000 miles thick? So give us a window, say 10 to 1000 miles thick, something like that, something we can pin down as to your particular mythology.

The Earth old chap is a convex sphere of radius 6371 kilometers. (It curves at approximately 8 inches per mile. I'll let you convert that into kilometers. Keep you busy).

That's close.
From an observer's position, the miles are squared and then multiplied by eight inches--- it's supposed to be a sphere, not a slope, remember.
Anybody have an objection to GOAD's formula and this correction?

No correction necessary old chap.

Take a mile long stick of bamboo (if you can find one) and curve it by 8 inches. Then take another mile long stick of bamboo and continue the 8 inch curve. Keep doing this until the curve brings you back to the first stick of bamboo. There is your curvature of the Earth and proof of its spherical form.
