The UK sounds like my kind of place: lots of rain, fog and cold. But from the National Geographic specials on the telly and such, it looks like Scotland is the most beautiful, followed very closely by Ireland and those little rocky islands where there is NO beach: no sand, no silt--the land mass or cliff just runs slam into the ocean. Mahhh-velous!

My favorite bar in Boston serves a delicious Guinness stew. You can get it in a small crusty bread bowl that's filled about a third of the way up with mashed potatoes and the rest of the way with the stew. Hits the spot on a cold winter night.
