Congrats to all the contestants for the fine work they submitted and an extra congratulations to Ghost and Drewnogal for their winning pieces!

Thank you again Silverstreaker for conducting a great contest! See y'all next year!

Oh yeah I also did Fellini along with the Fax story.

Usual thanks to yourself silverstriker for doing the heavy lifting again.
Thanks. I think my entry was a little morbid for some. 🙂

Was only truly happy with the line, '..amidst the fading aroma of lemon cheesecake and Arabica beans...'

Thank you for the feedback. I think I overdid it when I camouflaged the football. But I won't write "soccer" when I talk about football.

I thought it was quite upbeat given the subject matter; I mostly liked the level of characterisation and sense of place; no easy thing given the word count restrictions. Again well done some of us can only dream of consigning mike169 and drewnogal into second place 🙂

Spend half my life these days in coffee shops, so not too difficult to transport a reader there. 🙂

Perhaps i would spend less time there if i encountered a ghost.
