We observe that a lot of people want to live in the big and very bog cities. You can live on the countryside for small money. Same in Germany: You can rent cheap on the countryside , but big cities (Berlin, München, Frankfurt,...) are very expensive.

5) Refugees/Immigrants: The broad consensus is that refugees and immigrants are a small contributing factor to housing shortages in some regions, but it's nowhere near the root of the problem. In fact, many migrants are sheltered in barracks or camps (not the kinds of places citizens would tolerate living in), while others are placed in rural areas where there is a surplus of available housing.
