Yes I think the demographic you noted will be a factor for many years to come especially in South Wales. But they all seem very pleased when they beat England at rugby.

You’re living in cloud cuckoo land.

The only thing Britain’s got right, the last 10 years, is the vaccine roll-out.
Everything else is falling apart at the seams.

And the corruption in Westminster (and local politics) is absurd. Just pick up a Private Eye. They’ve been screaming about this for decades. The corruption is so rampant (and blatant) that it’s actually jaw-dropping.

The UK is in great shape. There is going to be a huge economic bounce back due to confident reopening of retail and service industries, construction is over-booked everywhere, trades are fully employed.

In fact the Bank of England has today forecasted that the uk economy will grow at its fastest rate since WWll.

So what the heck are you and Shav and all the other naysaying prophets of doom and gloomery friggin’ on about!?

The EU countries are mostly on their knees.

    Yeah! Thanks Brexit!

Are they not? Is it really? Someone needs to do some fact checking.

Does duchess64 want to get her sources from somewhere other than a Wiki article written by a member of Plaid Cymru?

Last weeks election. Struggling a bit there I see.

Labour (30) Conservative (16) Plaid Cymru (13) Liberal Democrats (1

And if you quote your article on Wiki "The party holds three of 40 Welsh seats in the UK Parliament,"

    But if we quote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Parliamentary_constituencies_in_Wales#2019

Another fantastic wiki page, with 9.9% of the vote they have 4. Proof indeed that anything written on Wiki can be taken with a grain of salt.

The point be it 3 or 4 seats out of 40 remains the same, second largest? Hmm.
