once again, if America is such a horrid place, why are people flooding our borders? Maybe because there is opportunity here? If Capitalism is so bad, our Constitution is so bad, our Bill of Rights is so bad, our Republic is so bad, why would they even want to be here? Maybe because it's so much better here than their homelands ?

America had two rich philanthropists many years ago. One started the public library
system in America with many libraries built for free. The other built campuses for
every state University system.

Nothing wrong with that. But if the government put a gun to their head and TOOK
the money under the guise of - "for the good of the people", it would be wrongful,
and it would be akin to socialism

Well know it wouldn’t but don’t t let that spoil a good fairy tale earl.
If they nationalised the means by which those lady bountiful’s came by their zillions that would be akin to socialism.
What your describing is a ‘progressive tax system’ favoured by the vast majority of capitalist democracies.

And if they instead had socialism, don't ever expect the corrupt politicians to build
the libraries and university campuses. People get things done, governments suck.
