Your corporation was under no obligation to give the part time opportunity to any other employee unless it was written into contracts. You could have easily and legally said that such arrangements are creating issues and so cannot be sustained. It could have been cancelled for the employee you gave this to. The same applies to letting one employee work from home and not another. Or changing the work at home option if it is not working for your company. Schools with unionized teachers often try things like shared teaching and then cancel the opportunity if administrators feel it does not work well. You sound rather incompetent.

will allow you to use sick leave to nurse a pet.........Many Japanese companies
(one of the worlds most productive and loyal work forces) encourage their
employees to take naps, on the job, as they have found that it increases
worker productivity and morale.....

yes. that's right. At what point are you having difficulty with the concept. Employee A and B have the same salary, the same workload. If employee A finishes early he should be allowed to go home early. Or relax (better to go home). If you want to give him more work, you pay him more. Who the fuk would finish faster if it meant more work for no change in pay.

I mean spending thousands of dollars getting advanced cancer therapy to dying pets while people are dying of exposure on the streets. Donating immense amounts of money and time trying to house stray animals while the streets are covered in homeless. Buying luxury foods for their fat and useless dogs while people starve. Stuff like that.
