We certainly had plenty of evidence that China was committing human rights abuses to Uighurs in Xinjiang, to wit:
-------------------------

The United States, the European Union, Britain and Canada imposed sanctions on Chinese officials on Monday for human rights abuses in Xinjiang, the first such coordinated Western action against Beijing under new U.S. President Joe Biden.

-----------------------

And now, we have Australia and New Zealand joining the fray.

Australia, New Zealand say clear evidence of rights abuses in China's Xinjiang

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australia and New Zealand’s foreign ministers said on Tuesday there was clear evidence of human rights abuses in Xinjiang in China, and said they welcomed the sanctions imposed on Chinese officials by other Western nations.

"“In particular, there is clear evidence of severe human rights abuses that include restrictions on freedom of religion, mass surveillance, large-scale extra-judicial detentions, as well as forced labour and forced birth control, including sterilisation,” the ministers said."

If any other country did this, there'd be far more extensive sanctions from the West.

If any other country did this and had oil, the USA would invade it.

This is Duchess' response to holding China responsible for their rape, torture, murder and genocide of Uighur Muslims.

POS.
The duchess only holds "white" people responsible for crimes they commit.

Evidently, "apparently" is a word which Duchess64 assumes will insulate her from transparency when propagating a seemingly endless supply of lies and propaganda.

This was not a "threat of violence". It was an offhand comment about how the U.S. uses atrocities like this as an excuse to invade nations with oil. That's obvious to everyone except you.

Nope. I as a Westerner am not going to support a war against China.

But hey, maybe we need to send Chinese diplomats to re-education camps.
Give them a wee break.
