Okay thanks. I was very curious about that. From what I read in that link it is not the same and many do not opt for a penis. It says "These surgeries can be expensive, carry risks and complications, and involve follow-up medical care and procedures."

Let me help. One is either a biological male or a biological female. What in the hell are you writing about? They may have had their junk removed whatever, but they are biologically male or biological female. Why is this such a problem with the faeries on this Forum? Gender has a far more important role in human sociology than biological sex.

In the bigger picture, it's like gender is the adjective to the biological sex noun.

no1: Sports organizations, not politicians, should decide who is eligible to compete in their events (assuming they comply with all civil rights laws).

IF I was on a governing body of such an organization a ...[text shortened]... over female athletes (not a generic comparison between the "average" male v. the "average" female).

Yes, not a transplant per se, but a rebuilding, if you will.

Seriously, this post has no meaning. It says nothing. I simply asked if a biological male sholuld be allowed to compete against a biological female. Further I wanted him to tell me what HE thinks, not what a link thinks. Not too much to ask. All children born, except for the abnormal, have ON THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE whether they are male or female. Maruader keeps talking about 'the authorities are the ones to decide at the swim meet.'. Well, if we follow his rationale, then each contestant should show up with their birth certificate to the competition.

I understand the distinction you’re making between biological sex and gender, but you’re changing the subject. As usual. The question isn’t whether gender has an important sociological role. It’s whether biological sex is relevant when determining eligibility for women’s sports. Geez. You kids.

Gender may be the adjective, as you put it. But in women’s sports, the noun matters. The whole reason we created women’s athletic categories was because biological sex produces meaningful physical differences. You haven’t explained why those differences cease to matter when the athlete identifies differently. As usual, you find those differences to be inconvenient when you try to make your groundless arguments.
