I think Eladar is too embarrassed to show up here with his pitiful post.
Now 145,000 dead and the death stats back over 1000 a DAY. Four MILLION confirmed covid cases here in the US and it is daily getting worse, Texas, Florida, and California are the present hot spots but the south is going to be in trouble also with those absolutely STUPID republican governor ...[text shortened]... ses so far up Trumps butt when he looks in a mirror he sees about a dozen noses staring back at him.

Why put Eladar down?

If people aren't going to wear masks they are taking a chance especially when in crowded places as we've been repeatedly told by the Doctors/Specialists in the field who deal with this kind of thing.
I say if they don't want to wear one don't let them in fine them and I am not talking a few dollars Thousands of dollars which would increase each time they are caught.

IF everyone wore a mask the virus would soon slow down to a very slow pace. Yes, it does seem people WANT to die or are just that foolish.

Way back in Feb or March I predicted 150,000 US deaths by Halloween.
I said I'd be happy to be wrong.
He scoffed at my prediction and said the usual
"no worse than a bad flu year" (ie 60,000)

It doesn't feel good being right.

Eladar also predicted some high number for NZ deaths.
We had something like 50 and are now clean.

The US has many, many, many hospitals. If say Houston Texas hospitals are full, why not send patients to hospitals in Sugarland or other surrounding large cities?

Most Texas hospitals are flooded or nearing their limits. Same with Arizona. Florida, which has a lot of old codgers to begin with, still has some hospital capacity, but dozens report no more available ICU beds. All three states are pulling in extra medical personnel (like nurses) either from military reserves, or from other states that have them to spare. That's right. Trump keeps talking about how Democrats are ruining the cities.

Well, Republican Governors are killing people by the thousands, but no peep about that. Every one of these high case states are red states. No one ever mentions that.
