    I think it's a lot easier to be dismissive when it comes to popular music - which has been actually proven to have grown more samey and less creative over the last couple of decades - than in classical and classical-adjacent music. I don't think many adults are writing off young talent in violinists, opera singers, pianists, jazz trumpeters, and so on. Artificial K-pop bands, yes.
