I say it is über crap and the headquarters of Rolling Stone
magazine should be burnt by an angry mob armed with
pitchforks and torches.

Post your thoughts only if they are in line with mine.

Thanks.

Marvin Gaye being in the Top 5 is fine, though.

Aretha Franklin's 'Respect' should be instead of that
hippie overrated scumbag of John Lennon.

Mark David Chapman did him a favor. Just like bad
aids did it to Freddy Mercury: Billboard climbing through
death!

Chuck Berry should be in the second spot, as well.

Instead, they place the white kids' response to real
blues rock, i.e. the Rolling Wheelchairs.

Sam Cooke in nr. 12 ???

Gee, while the unoriginal and tedious novelty act of Kurt Cobain
and his minion brigade of grunge wannabes is in 9. Heaven knows
Eddie Vedder's biggest mistake is to still be alive.

Total crap. This list is rigged, I tells ya.

All I gotta say is...

31. Stairway To Heaven, Led Zeppelin

Really? Do they even listen to music there at the RS, or just crank out Obama-friendly 'news' articles?

And here I was ready to say that I had no idea the Rolling Stones had done 500 songs....

It's folly to even attempt a list like this. Listing material that is entirely subjective is meaningless.

I guess Rolling Stone has not come to grips with the fact that they have not mattered for a long, long time.

And all the stuff listed is, of course, in English.

Preposterous philistinism!

People that work in magazines have to battle every day to muster a shred of self respect. Cut them some slack, friend.

I gave their crap list 1 star. Too bad they didn't offer 1/2 star. Or 1/4 star or 1/1167123545165 star.

It seems pretty evident they are using the same system devised by the BCS for football here in the US. Both are works of Satan.
