Clans

My credibility may be a hell of a lot better than the Clan Leader you speak of, you are always trying to get somone else in on your silly arguments.

I wash my hands of you and hope all the filth get off.

Washing your hands with me by responding to a post that wasn't directed at you is a bit weird.

And again, you sound rattled.

@Ghost,

You sound like a child who can't get his own way!

THE END!

So in the same words I have uttered for years, if it makes you sleep better, change the rules, the format and anything else you like, I really don't care.
My job will be to dissect the rules, figure out the revised strategy, and beat everyone (if possible). This is the fire of competition. Nothing more.
Everything I have always done and always will do, will be within ...[text shortened]... t is the fun. In the words of Sir Elton John, "I'm Still Standing"

Does this explain it for you?
Or you could just participate in clan challenges. Lighten up a bit.

It's not a job.

Stupid clubs have a separate rating and nobody plays in the clubs.

The first fix is a separate clan rating to start.
It's not perfect but it is definitely the main problem.

Seriously, how hard is it to have clan rating?

The idea of a fixed amount of games/challenges is good too. Just like a sporting league.

Oh, and yes my rating increases constantly.
Even with me being almost 50 years old.

It's about 25 rating points per year increase like clockwork.
I study and try to improve.

Of course I still make monumental blunders but they are less and less as the years go by.
I started playing in my early 20's and I was brutally bad, barely able to stay above 1100 but not anymore.

Anyone who says they can't improve, is lying or lazy.
Anyone can reach 2000 with effort and time.

You seem like the type who thinks anyone with a rating above yours must be using assistance.

That says a lot about your ego. I dare you to join a real life tournament and be humbled to the point of you quitting chess or the usual, "they must be using assistance" ๐Ÿ˜„

Non improvement chess and playing for meaningless clan points is not my cup of tea.
I've heard the old days were honorable and clan wars were fun.

This new spamming a lot of games just so someone can say they won a "team championship" is stale and boring. It also killed the clan feature.

It's on life support like GK .

@Pus,

You're just a young fellow yet with a lot of attitude.

@Very-Rusty

The right attitude.

That's why I keep getting better on a yearly basis.

And 50 is not young ๐Ÿคจ

@Pus,

50 is young is if you taken good care of yourself physically and mentally! Hopefully no medical issues In today's world 50 is the old 40 which was once considered old. ๐Ÿ˜‰

There is no reason your chess shouldn't be improving, especially if you are working at it every day.

As you get older and have medical issues sometimes your rating drops. I will use myself as an example of that.

We all sometimes take our health for granted.

Exercise is very important, not drinking (alcohol) or smoking also helps ones health.
