January 2008 Banded Quartets 1800+ tournament our group may be the first group where all 4 member advances to the next round that would be the first time I ever seen it happen. It all up to brian ashton he needs to beat everyone once and lose once and then all of us are in! This is the closest match group I have ever been in.

It's happened several times before. I can't remember any specific tournaments, but I have seen at least two groups like that over the years.

If a perfect series of events fall into place, then everyone in his group has a chance to move on to the next round. That's what he meant by 'perfect group'.
