What I'm saying is that MAYBE I'M JUST PULLING YOUR %$#@ING CHAIN, MAN...

What the fudge are talking about???

When were you pulling my chain? Were you not serious when you said we go like LA, LA, LA? If so, is there not a comedy club around where you live where you can showcase your amazing talents?

Notice that your LA, LA, LA post got 2 thumbs down and neither thumb is from me. Apparently, I'm not the only one to not "get" you.

When have I made up my mind about what you were saying and why was I wrong? Should I expect every post you write to be nonsense?

Which facts am I ignoring?

In what way was I right about God?

Why do you say that I'm *ALWAYS* right? Have I implied that at some point?

Seriously, what the hell are saying???

However, there has never been a good socialist or communist government that I would want to life in. Jesus also approved of some communists and socialist ideas, but he was also a strong capitalist.

I have heard good arguments that he did not exist, which leaves me with no strong opinions either way. I do believe ATG existed. I do not 'believe in', either of them. I also do not believe either of them exist today.

There is also little doubt that not everything written about either of them is true.

The funny thing here is that Robbie does not believe Christ was God, so he too does not believe in Christ the God, and spends quite a lot of time argument against him.

At one time I did not believe Christ was God either. I believed in God from my youth, however, to me Jesus was just a good man who was without sin. That was until I got really educated on the matter. I even studied with some Jehovah's Witnesses. How I came to understand that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, under that influence, is beyond my understanding. It seems the most unlikely of events.

But that was exactly what I had to accept in order to accept that the Holy Bible was the truth. I could not deny it by my reason and logic.

So? Many conservatives don't want to live in a world where corporations aren't allowed to rob and cheat the rest of us half to death.

Are you high? Jesus wasn't a capitalist. He opposed the moneychangers who set up shop in His Father's house.

Now this I can get behind. I'll be doing some reading on this. I had no idea it was a 'thing'.

Thanks for the links.

Yes, well, the theoretical argument he and I are having here is in the concepts of socialism vs. capitalism, and which would Jesus espouse (probably neither, actually) if he were here today.

It was the conceptual argument I was going for with "Jesus wasn't a capitalist." Meaning He didn't hold any ideas which would make anyone think so. Meaning He didn't believe any of the precepts that someone would need to believe in order to be called a capitalist today. No, I get that capitalism didn't actually exist then. Neither did communism or socialism, in the modern senses of the words.

The tense I used when I did comment on this some time ago was "Jesus would have been a socialist today".
