It's all relative to prospective. Let's just leave it there,eh?
This is not going to be another 400post thread where 70% of the posts are between 2-4 posters 'debating' the meaning of some irrelevant term is it ??? I hope not . Cheeers

This forum is like a window into the inner workings of the mind of fundy isolationist Christians. It's like reading a newspaper written only by brain washed retards. One must know their enemy afterall and who is the enemy of the athiest if not Christians.

I know this is hard to believe, but, outside of Christianity, many other religions are actually tolerant of others and want to share their thoughts, feelings and beliefs in an open and enlightening fashion. This makes a refreshing change to "we're right, you're wrong" approach you'll finding coming from many of the Christian faction in this forum.

Ok, not bizarre in an abnormal way, but, bizarre in that you disagree with it so much, personally.

The converse could also be said, just as accurately.

I agree with you.

Another question I have often asked myself is why?

Why are there so many different branches of Christianity?

If the message of Jesus is simple, then why are there so many different pieces
of the puzzle?

eg: Catholics, Protestants, Methodists, Baptists, JW's, Mormons, etc.

Is there not a one size fits all for the message of Jesus?

This is why I lean towards being an Atheist.

The argument that there is no God is far more logical than saying that there is one.

If he was there, then we would certainly know it without any ambiguity.

If he was real, then it would be one true religion instead of different religions and different branches within each of those religions.

A limitation that may be mistaken for discernment is needing to use my wife's kindle while on vacation. (Also meaning I can't make moves.)

The answers to these questions are simple. In fact I would guess that you've heard them before - assuming you've participated in these forums for more than a short time.

Do you want to know? Or, do you enjoy believing that the reason there are so many denominations in Christianity is because the messages of Christ are convoluted and probably wrong?

Let me know if you want the answers.

A well thought out response, thank you for the time to put it together.

I mean we are probably the best ones to know what we are thinking or what our motivations are. Are we always self serving are we all self serving? Do you not trust your inner being or do you think it to be deceptive?

Not dissaprove, but I could see it turning into a lengthy thread with not much gain for any of the parties. Mind you, I could be wrong.

I'm just saying sometimes I've thrown comments out there not realizing how much explaining I'd have to do to make my point clear.
