Presumably, you want people to give credence to what you are saying, though.

I said I have tested as a J in other tests. I thought I was clear when I said I'm not entirely sure why this is. INFP and INFJ are the two types most likely to test similarly. Also, while INFP is somewhat rare, INFJ is even more so.

I believe, through the insight granted by my psych courses, that I am P, rather than J.

Only God's Word will last. Everything else will pass away.
I'm kinda wondering how God got through your closed mind.

I am a Mediator (INFP-A).

I have tested in the past as INFJ. I'm still not sure if this is a function of the particular test or the way I present myself on a given day. But I am definitely an -A rather than a -T. I'm pretty sure I am INFP, though, as I've been reading up on the differences between the INFJ and the INFP. Why the INFx ...[text shortened]... irely a good idea. 😛

(Dang, this is making me want to drag out my psych textbooks again.)
Apparently, 'only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the most rare of all the types.'

Thanks for the thread. I have found the concept of Intuitive vs Sensory very interesting. As a math teacher it explains why I am what so many kids need.

70 percent of the population is sensory but most people good at math are intuitive. This means most math teachers who are good with math are intuitive. There are only a few of us Sensors who can explain math so that 70 percent of people can understand.

I'm also intuitive, but only when it comes to people. (Important in my work) I'm pretty rubbish at maths. 🙂

Still pattern dominant without regard to pratical outcomes. Or at least if it did not work in the past doesn't matter much.

Maybe the more rare your type the more special 😛

Here are the rankings:

Type Frequency in Population
ISFJ 13.8%
ESFJ 12.3%
ISTJ 11.6%
ISFP 8.8%
ESTJ 8.7%
ESFP 8.5%
ENFP 8.1%
ISTP 5.4%
INFP 4.4%
ESTP 4.3%
INTP 3.3%
ENTP 3.2%
ENFJ 2.5%
INTJ 2.1%
ENTJ 1.8%
INFJ 1.5%

My ENTP "visionary" profile is clearly less special
