JW's are not persecuted for their beliefs (nobody really cares about your beliefs), they are just downright irritating.
Anyone who comes to my front door at dinnertime and asks my if I am concerned about the state of the world and offers me a solution from a comic, is going to get some direct feedback. It doesn't correlate this person is a member of god's chosen group. Leeds Utd fans now THEY are persecuted, perhaps they have the truth...

Second if quoting is not possible then the gist of what was said must be possible, unless your memory is like a seive.
What happened is that both Galveston and RC were at to losing end of an argument and they resorted to derogatary statements that I was gay and I responded along that lines that if they were to bring their wives then their wives can confirm that I certainly am not gay.

I have a link with all of the error / falsehood from the watch tower dating the span from 1877-1995 this is over 100 years of false prophecy. It's all verifiable. So I give you proof just look at the link which gives references with page number and all. You can look at it then refute what is said but it is written history from your organization.
Lastly even if I buy into your argument that your organization is now changed you can't deny it's past. You would use this argument against the catholics.

The scriptures at 1Th 5:4-9 & Pr 4:18 speaks of the light or knowledge and understanding of Bible truths becoming clearer an clearer.
So yes at first many things were not clear and humans as we all are will jump to conclusions and make mistakes. Is that not a fair statement?
But we are trying and doing the best we can to see that light and be willing to makes adjustments as we learn and be willing to take the ridicule that comes with seperating ourselves from other religions. Again...Jesus said this would happen because we say what others do not want to hear.
