No there were not always floods. At one time it did not even rain.
The worldwide flood happened when there was only one continent.
The earth has not existed for a million years, so forget about all the
crap about this and that happened so many millions of years ago.

Time machines will never come about, so why ponder on that?

How quaint. Your atrophy is apparently showing, it must have concentrated on chess and left that much less for other kinds of rational (or otherwise) thoughts, like believing in the idea the entire universe is 6000 some odd years old.

How you can look at something like the moon and with a straight face assert the Earth is only 7000 years old or so I will never understand.

Yes, I guess you probably never will. Sorry about that.

I already said that, what is sad is you have your head so far up your bible you can't see reality anymore. I guess maybe it's better that way, you might go insane instead of deluded.

Bobby Fischer became insane because of his disbelief. I am only deluded
because I believe in the Holy Bible. A much better outcome, Indeed. 😏

Why would you say there were not always floods? Was there not always water and clouds here? You love to pick and choose your evidence, floods when YOU want them and no floods at any other time. Do you deny there are floods now?

How do you think the Med got filled? 4 or 5 million years ago there was a natural dam at the Strait of Gibraltar and there was very little water in the Med then. Then through something like a massive earthquake the dam broke loose and water charged into the Med like a hundred Niagra's. It took about a thousand years to fill and if that wasn't a flood I don't know what to call it.

The Holy Bible said it had never rained on the earth before the Great flood.
It says the whole earth was watered by mists from the springs of water
below ground. There are many floods now, but there will never be another
flood like the Great flood. The earth had not even been created 4 million
years ago and everything you have said has no eyewitness proof. Who
was there to see and report all of this nonsense? I have the eyewitness
report recorded by a man, who talked to the one that was there in the
beginning to witness everything that happened. You have only speculations
and wild guesses.

Then how would you explain a pile of dirt from a massive water flow we can readily measure even today near the strait? You figure a mountain of mud compressed now to rock came from what?

Read this little history of early floods if you dare:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outburst_flood

BTW, have you ever heard of the Ogallala aquifer?

It all was probably a result of the great flood of Noah's day.

Trees do not necessarily make a ring each year.

But you saw a ring, you could say that represents at least one year's growth?
