Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny too.

Quite frankly, I was a bit surprised that anyone would have had to have it explained to them. But then, it is SecondSon.

In an attempt to deflect from the fact that he needed to have the cartoon explained to him, SecondSon opts for the clumsy disparaging comment.

Why is it you never hear someone say, "I was an ant in a previous life. I was gathering a cookie crumb and I looked up and a shoe stepped on me?"

Why are they always the queen of England or something?

    It's always puzzled me.

    Don’t dodge the question.

Why do sonship’s strange beliefs about aliens on other worlds need to be left alone?

Am obviously not a believer in reincarnation, but there are actually some interesting (and difficult to explain) accounts of people remembering previous lives, and not the lives of queens or Napoleon and the like. I recall a documentary of a family accepting a stranger (a child) as their reincarnated grandfather, due to the specific memories and information that child was able to recount.

For the most part though, previous incarnations (it would seem) are not meant to be consciously remembered (rather like dreams) which would explain why I have absolutely no recollection of being a hamster.

    Mm, cheese...

The only importance of past life experiences are the lessons learnt therein. Not the personalities or the forms that you took. .. . . . . . . . A light switch is either on or off. There is no such thing as being 99.9% turned on. So either you remember your entire lesson or none of it. One life or many, doesn't matter

    Don't dodge the answer.

Why do your beliefs need to be left alone?

Once you can answer that truthfully, then perhaps the switch will be thrown, illuminating the answer to your question.

But, judging from your posting history, perhaps not.

    No.

Your little barbed comment earlier revealed something about you. You said “you can’t leave it (sonship’s strange belief about aliens) alone”

My question in reply to you, which you are now dodging like mad, remains unanswered. It is: Why should sonship’s strange beliefs be “left alone”?

No one has ever suggested that divegeester's beliefs "need to be left alone".
