As I said in my OP, it is difficult to see how to take the bible literally give the scenario I referenced in detail.
Do you have anything to add or are you just going to keep asking me the same question over and over?
LOL, seriously, asking you the same question over and over, that's a laugh. You
only need to say which is the thing you are attempting to talk about as the cause
for all of the concern, is it the Bible itself, or just those you are talking about?
If it is the Bible, then any interpretation would be following the text that you have
identified as the root cause for concern, correct that all of the bad interpretations
would be eliminated; all we need do is correct the text if you can. However, if you
have no issues with the Bible itself; you have to clear up the bad interpretations by
giving the proper interpretations that those verses in question need to have when
someone reads them, instead of how others are now, according to you.
If you are upset at both, I cannot help you; you don't have anything to correct
with outside of your feelings. If there isn't a means to satisfy your discontent
with doctrine by being able to give proper instruction and interpretations, you
have nothing to do but gripe and complain; there will be no remedy.
