Jesus calls us all to be perfect, as His Father in heaven is perfect. My issue with dive has always been his willingness to be a mediocre Christian who's content with his flaws, and with no real desire to change.
You've always seemed to struggle with Christian humility and taken this as a weakness.

Chaney3 is either a Christian, or he is not.
As far as I can tell, the Christians of Earth are on a sliding scale.

Your issue with @divegeester is a convenient distraction.

How do you interpret the call to be perfect? What actions (inner or outer) do you take in that direction?

Are you willing to lead by example?

I think it was just the one time, but are you yourself willing to open your little shell and be guided and transformed by the Holy Spirit?

It would be incorrect to press you on the question that you dodged. The time comes when it comes.

I've just noticed how you go from thread to thread....with your genius.

Maybe you shouldn't spread yourself so thin. Maybe?

I'm not made of peanut butter!

Back on topic:

Could you give us some practical guidance on how to be perfect, or at least more perfect?

Sin no more, that from Jesus, not me.

He seemed to think it's possible.

Good job that we have a more reliable measure than whatever it is you can tell.

It turns out that in addition to John 8:11, Jesus does say something similar but not quite the same in John 5:14.

Better to read the whole story in each case for context, if you are so inclined.
