-Removed-In the days of the OT, especially early on, it seems to me God was very concerned about protecting His flock from outside influences and from developing certain habits. Apparently He was also deeply concerned about protecting the bloodline. It doesn't seem far-fetched to suggest those concerns were diminished when Jesus, the purpose of protecting the bloodline, was born.
@Tom-Wolsey
Israel needed to remain strong and intact until Jesus was born and executed. Acceptance of homosexuality is a sign that a culture is on its way down.

So you see homosexuality as hereditary? Is that what your reference to "bloodline" means?
@eladar saidThe reduction in numbers due to executions notwithstanding, do you think there was a smaller proportion of people whose sexual orientation was homosexual back in the times when Leviticus applied?

@tom-wolsey saidSo what's the link, in your mind, between killing homosexuals and protecting the bloodline? You were asked why you think your God wanted homosexuals killed, and you said that he was concerned about protecting the bloodline. What link do you perceive?
Nope.
@fmf saidYou focused like a laser on the part about the bloodline, and ignored the rest of what I said.

I love how the wonder twins pick specific bits of comments and apply them somewhere else inappropriately, then suggest someone "runs away" scared if they don't give relevance to the applications.
I never directly linked protecting the bloodline with killing homosexuals. I never claimed to believe homosexuality is genetically transferred. You and your twin/alter ego conjured that up out of thin air.
