the angel of the Lord, that appeared to Moses from the fire in the
midst of a bush, was the Son of God before He became flesh.
Angel means "messenger from God" so it seems Justin Martyr is
correct since the Father is the one ...[text shortened]... was the name of the Son of God before
He became flesh and not the name of the Father.
lol..Ok if you say so.

I know the Holy Spirit was guiding me again and allowed
me to see this. I became full of emotion and still am.
The same thing has happened to me before when I
discovered (maybe it was revealed to me) that Jesus'
prophecy of the 3 days and 3 nights in the grave was
true because he was actually crucified on wednesday
and not Friday. Then again when I saw the NASB translation
that indicated Jesus was born at the time of the Passover
since it said He "became" 12 at that time.
An amazing and humbling feeling.

Did it happens to speak to you and give some insight on the trinity issue?

No, He did not speak to me at all. It was like a feeling came over
me. It seemed like my mind was open and when I saw certain
scripture verse that I had saw before, without recognizing the
significance of it and how it related to the rest of scripture, I
suddenly saw what it meant. Have you ever looked at a chess
problem and just could not figure out the solution? But when
you look up the answer, suddenly you see it and wonder how
you could have missed it. I needed help seeing it but once I
saw it the solution did not seem as hard as I had though it was.
It was sort of like that.

Someone posted a quote from Hosea but did not explain the
significance of it as I sudden saw how It related to other
scripture verses. I never realized it before. And it was different
than what I had believed. Because I was always taught by man
that Jehovah was the name of God the Father and I believed them.

So what do you believe now about God's name?

I believe that the Holy Spirit answered the question on this thread,
"Is Jesus of New T LORD/Jehovah of the Old T?" for me.
That answer is YES.

No, I can rip it with the rest quite happily on most topics.

Here, you can be inappropriate in the way you ridicule or look down your spiritual nose sometimes. Galveston too but to a must lesser extent. I guess when you know it all, it's hard not to come across like you know it all...

nope, its a cultural difference that i have noted from my sojourns south of the border,
you have no concept of ripping, without getting personal, to us, we never think of it as
personal and never give it as personal, this is not the case with you guys, your
comment about knowing it all is a prime example of this, its personal, whereas our rips
are never ever intended to be personal. I put it down to our egalitarian sensibilities.
