Wait a minute if OSAS isn't directly stated in the Bible, where does it tell people they can authoritatively judge for themselves if they are part of the elect?
Knowing you are saved does not seem to be an essential part of OSAS.It would be hubris.
Sounds like setting up a straw man, to me.
If the opponent of a doctrine gets to define its tenets, you can be pretty sure it will be fatally flawed.
