Thank the stars I don't live in Israel! Seriously, the bible is not sweet and tolerant. As if a real god can't handle things unless we hate others.
Also, God doesn't play around with false gods, this displeases you why?
Do you serve God or are you just bad mouthing Him because you want too?
Deuteronomy 17:2-17:7
2 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the Lord thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the Lord thy God, in transgressing his covenant,
3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.
6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Just excuses for human misery

I think the one of the reasons I am disliked by the Christians in here is that I've stop trying rationalise topics such as the eternal, everlasting torture with Jn 3;16. In my opinion it cannot be done so instead I challenge it.

God could not even find one good person, and any wondering soul that entered their city was gang raped, or worse.
I think there comes a point of no return.
Then you had the Canaanites who sacrificed their children to idols.
Nice.
I don't see too many posts complaining about the Nazi regime being leveled to ashes.
