@eladar saidYes Einstein, thumbs down currently mean nothing.
Lol, thumbs down mean nothing.
You got over 3 thumbs down Wolf, I guess you need to self ban from this forum.
Perhaps someone should create a thread suggesting they do mean something.
I wonder if you would comprehend that?
And I of course would be subject to any rules - no need to self ban is there?
@wolfgang59 saidYou are the OP of the thread aren't you wg59....pretty much enough said there! 😉

You can't control people in the GF to a certain topic......I already said what to do, start a club VERY RUSTY not permitted, there you have it problem solved without all the drama!!!
You want thumbs down to mean something so you and your little group of friends can control the threads perhaps all of them. Don't have to be an Einstein to figure that one out wg59. 😛 😉

@very-rusty saidIf we weren't so full of our selves, who else would offer to host them? 😉
Like this as an example, many people are full of themselves! 😉

@very-rusty saidI'm an introvert, with a poor self-image, but it doesn't stop me from wanting the last word. Sometimes what stops me from posting is realising that my post would kill the thread.

@kewpie saidYou see that is something I don't even think about. If I have something to say, I will say it rather it kills the thread doesn't really matter to me.

@very-rusty saidThat's because your ultimate aim is to kill the forums altogether.

@ponderable saidOne answer is not to engage in conversation with them.
Is there any alternative ? I ahve experienced some sites to go down due to forum trolls.
If they want to sling insults at one another that's their choice.
Just ignore the threads which bears their names as the most recent posters

@ponderable saidWhat were those chess sites Pondy, I've been on pretty well all the chess sites and never seen it happen yet.

Have you considered that Option?
When I get a request from Russ to tone it down I will, if that was directed towards me which appears to me it was. Untill such time I will carry on as usual and a SMALL group of people will not tell me what I can or can not do.
