As opposed to the writers of the article I am not so sure these prefixes are needed...Scientists are normally quite ok with powers of ten.

Besides the fact that you can do math with numbers, like 2 E30 Kg which I think is the Kg # for the mass of Earth. I guess ronnagram is a descriptive with limited usefulness.
