can anyone give me a really good anagram (mixing up the letters of words to form
new ones)? i mean, we all know simple ones, like "hot date"-> "the toad", but
can someone come up with some to beat "miss theoretical scientist"-> "this smart
testicle is on ice"? or can you do better with a historical figure than
"klemens von metternich"->
"retch milk, vent no semen" (sorry-that's nasty)?
people who have been playing me lately have discovered my tendency to do this to
their names 🙂 .

This post came close to being removed through fear of deterioration,
but I'm sure it won't get too rude... here's a clean one, a pathetic
attempt...

"Rhymester and Vaknso" -> "Movers, ardent 'n' shaky"

The Quote

"To be or not to be: that is the question, whether tis nobler in the
mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune."

And the Anagram

"In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero,
Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten."

it's genius. did you invent it? although the easiness of the anagram
generally is directly proportional to the number of letters, provided the
vowel density is high. i hope this doesn't deteriorate. it's entertaining.

I did not invent (discover?) it I'm afraid, it was told to me by a friend.
I have several more anagrams somewhere...not as good as that one
though. They are all short two word ones...I'll see if I can find them
when I get a chance.

PS Ooooh. I can remember one off the top of my head (it's probably
quite famous that everyone's heard of):-

Mother in Law = Woman Hitler 😀

one for the poetic history buffs: "Topographical anomaly" --> "Marco Polo gaily nap't".

When smoking a dubie with a friend with an Indian name, one could say I "loaned my vitamins to Rao" (an anagram of "amotivational syndrome" ) I am aware of the grammatical error.

"pentium processor"--->"rectum oppression"
"irritable bowel syndrome"--->"O My! Drain's terrible below!"

"scatalogical apologist" --->"So gloat, local pig sciata!"
(I hope this mitigates the rectum humour)

(Of course "the rectal jokes"--->"O! He talks! Reject!"

Another one for the information industry: "A Pentium processor"---->"PR: Rectum soap noise"
