A selection of games I've recently been involved in.
All involved a Rook or Rooks.

Blunders, a might have been and a cracker.

I think the issue is that you used a 1/3 time control, and that all the games started at the same time.

The trick with larger game loads is to have slower time controls, and to have games at different stages at any given time. With a 7/7 time control it could be weeks before you find yourself in a middlegame, and those weeks can be used to take care of games that are already deeper in.

I played the faster time controls when I was a non-sub, but once I subscribed I HAD to go to slower time controls, because I was LIVING on the computer to keep up. My clan at home is more important, so now the games get stretched.

Very informative, and good of you to not only share with us your blunders
but also take the time in offering analysis for multiple games.

Your cumulative performance across the games seem to approve the hypothesis that
"the more games you play simultaneously, the less concentration can be input - quality suffers consequently"
(As discussed in the quality vs quantity thread, like you stated)

My only additional comment is for the game where you offered a draw, but your opponent didn't see it and played the conditional move:
If realised the offer, would he have accepted the draw?
- If so, I reckon it's a wee bit harsh playing on to win

Anyways, kudos for your commitment to the game... maybe next time go for the hundred? 😛

I have missed draw offers due to conditional moves, and unintentionally offended my opponent, who did not realize I never saw it.

When placing a conditional move, there is a box for "accept draw offer?" that you can check and which will automatically accept an offer if made.

I didn't notice it at first, but now I always use it if I am playing in a position that is very drawish, or if I definitely would accept one.

It was a tactical offer of draw. 😳

Afraid the old OTB player surfaced. I used to love spinnng lost games.
My opponent and I are still on good terms. (I think).

Yes the TC was was fast but no excuse for some of the lemons.
Dropping the b2 Rook was so silly. I trusted my survial instinct too much
to see things v me but with all these postions flicking past my eyes I never
gave it a chance. But all good fun.

I'm sure I'm losing this one as well, White had a few cute moves here.
I just went for King.

Nice game, full of the kind of tricks that I hope to deploy more often.

How many games are there left now?
And do you ever think you could do this again in the future? (Perhaps try to improve your score eh)

10 left. I set up 54 before I finally got fed up.

Won't do this again, been fun though.
