1 min time control- we both played pretty badly but I love these.

I gave up playing on uChess as I've tried everything I could and I still get disconnected almost every game. So, I'm back to RHP Blitz where at least the disconnects annoy me less because it's not rated.

Here was a cool game: [Event "RHP Blitz rated"]

It's too bad he made the blunder at the end, I think it was a very interesting position.

Me and rubberjaw30 just played a great and wild Caro-Kann game. Despite White's overwheliming attack, there were no real blunders by either side and the opening was very well played. No pawns or pieces being dropped or anything of the sort. This is pretty remarkable for blitz. Of course, there were improvements, like 20. ..d4 which seems to equalize, but the objective difference between the moves isn't big, maybe 1/3 of a pawn.

Enjoy and tell me what you think.

BTW: I usually don't post names, but we both agreed that it was an interesting and well-played blitz game.

I rarely play d4, but I decided to give it a try. It led to a very strange game in which I made TEN pawn moves in the first 12 moves. Although, I certainly had good reason. Check it out:

1. d4 d5 2. c4 Nf6 3. cxd5 Nxd5 4. e4 Nf6 5. Nc3 Bg4 6. f3 Bh5 7. Qb3 b6 8. g4 Bg6 9. h4 h5 10. g5 Nfd7 11. f4 Nc6 12. f5 Bh7

See if you can find the fastest winning continuation for move 13.
