Like I mentioned before, uChess is a buggy monstrosity that should have never made it to see the light of day. However, it has come to my attention that it doesn't even implement all the rules of chess! How can one have a ratings system when fundamental rules aren't even respected!?
Apparently, the three move repetition rule is broken! I cannot claim a draw in such positions. My opponent has to accept it. This is ridiculous and I've had a weak player repeat a position more than two dozen times because of this (he could have won on time if I had no increment). Moreover, while I haven't tested this, I suspect that the 50 move rule is also not implemented. I grow more disappointed in this site with each passing day. The only thing it has going for it is that it's free. I had high hopes at first but it needs MAJOR work and perhaps a whole rewrite in a decent language for this (JAVA).
