However, I've seen that knight hang on g4 for about 20 moves when white knows the trap...
I love that variation.
If white knows the trap black can still get active queen play to f6 or h6 or h6 and other ideas too.
The first time I went over an Old Steinitz Defence game it was black setting tricks and traps with every move.
It's been my favourite ever since.
Unfortunately I don't remember the exact game/players.
