Available from "Town Squares". 🙄

Very disappointed they didn't dedicate an announcement to the RHP iPhone app.

I wonder what that is in dollars, at the current exchange rate.

I'd been hearing about the $1000 price point, but 1000 pounds is a lot more than that.

As it is, my Galaxy S8+ set me back around $770, and I thought that was outrageous.

We're not known as "rip off Britain" for nothing.

Generally electronics has been £s for $s here for years. It "sucks", to use a common Americanism.

I've got a 7 and wish I'd saved money and got a six. The telephone microphone "sucks" on this model.

I have a galaxy 7 which is water resistant, is the new Iphone water resistant? That seems to me to be the largest failure mode, getting wet. I can dunk my galaxy in 4 feet of water without damage. Can you say that about the new Iphones?

I have a htc, which was downhanded trice until it arrived at me a year ago, am I still qualified to take part in the discussion?

Oh I think I would not give 100 € for a phone.

I have a 3 year old HTC, and am very happy with it. Assume I'm disqualified too!

It'd be approximately $1,300 at the current exchange rates.

We tend to pay a lot for our tech.

It turns out that the $1000 price point I'd heard about was for the iPhone 8 and 8plus.

The X is running around $1300+ here. Crazy.

Not defending that price, but UK price will include VAT, & US price will not include sales tax.

So difference is less than you might assume.
