@chessturd saidI notice in World Hockey, Olympic Hockey, Junior Hockey, any level no English teams.
Anyone who says ice hockey in Canada gets punched out by a hockey player.
Girls play field hockey.
British dudes could not handle the violence of hockey.
Girls also play Hockey here we have a great Womens league here who have a rivalry going with the U.S.A. who have High level hockey they both play junior hockey players to tune up for games, only there is no checking allowed. It is impressive the skills some of them have!!!

@executioner-brand saidCanada have also won both in the Olympics and World Championships without having their best Players as they are all in the NHL when these events are going on.
Russia is the Olympic champion in Ice Hockey.
Sweden is the world champion in Ice Hockey.

@chessturd saidIn Britain that is Great Britain to you, which incidentally is the most important geographical element of what is referred to as the United Kingdom, we don’t guage masculinity based on wether someone has to wear Kevlar body armour when they play sport.

@divegeester said...and besides, how many hockey players would stand well in a Rugby scrum?

Intrasport comparisons are futile.

Forget the Kevlar body armor. Maybe a helmet.

@great-big-stees saidThe Haps have a young inexperienced team with a great goal tender, if they can keep most of them together I think they will do well next year. No one expected them to be fighting for a play off spot at game 81. They do need a few more big tough guys in my opinion.
