How 'Bout You!
I know where I come from, how about you?
I don't need baggy clothes, or raising my nose to be cool.
The scars on my knuckles match the scuffs on these cowboy boots.
And there's a whole lot more like me, how about you?
I punch the clock trying to make it to the top, how about you?
I Aint got no blue blood trust fund I can dip into.
Yea, I wish Uncle Sam would give a damn about the man whose collar is blue.
But if he don't, hell, I'll make it on my own, how about you?
How about you, do you feel the way I do.
To tell the truth, I think we're the chosen few.
That's just me, how about you?
I still say yes maam, to my momma, how about you?
If I shake your hand and look you in the eye, you can bet your ass, it'll be the truth.
I cover my heart with my hat when they fly that red, white and blue, just like my daddy tought me.
How about you?

Awesome.
My old man's back hand used to land hard on the side of my head.
I just learned to stay out of his way.
There've been street lights, blue lights, long nights, with the world sitting on my chest.
It just showed me how much I can take.
Hard times, bad luck, sometimes life sucks.
That's alright, I'm OK, it aint nothing but another day.
Only God knows where I would be if you ever stopped loving me.
The bank man, boss man, the law man, all trying to get their hands on me.
And I aint even done a damn thing wrong.
I've been weigh layed, freight trained, short changed.......all I got to say is bring it on.
Hard rain, rough roads, that's how my life goes.
